Welcome to PM SHRI Govt. High School, Anlay (Khaldo). It is my privilege to lead an institution that has served the children of Changthang for over four decades  from its humble beginning in 1979, through its growth into a Middle School in 1986, and finally into a full High School in 2018.

As a PM SHRI school, we are committed to providing quality, holistic education that nurtures not just academic excellence but also confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of cultural identity in our students. Being located in one of the remotest and most beautiful regions of Ladakh comes with its own challenges, and we take pride in ensuring that no child is left behind because of distance, cost, or circumstance  which is why education here remains completely free, along with free uniforms, hostel facilities for Classes 2 to 10, and mid-day meals for our youngest learners.

Our students continue to make us proud  representing the school at zonal and district-level sports competitions, science exhibitions, quiz competitions, and cultural events, and even at the national level through educational tours. Each of these experiences shapes them into confident, well-rounded individuals ready to take on the world while staying rooted in their heritage.
